February-March 2018: App & Tech Favourites

I'm going strong with this monthly insert. I'm proud of myself!

Apologizes in advance if you expected to see any technology favourites in this edition but I didn't have it in my budget to try any new tech products in February. If you have a favourite app or you think there's a product, I would enjoy, don't forget to leave a comment down below. I'd love to be a guinea pig for you and test it out! Now without further ado...

Here are my Top 5 for February and March, in no particular order:

  1. SNES Classic Mini
  2. Spendee
  3. Afterlight 2
  4. Fabulous
  5. OP.GG

Super Nintendo Entertainment System Classic Mini Misscamco Camille Co

This adorable little remake of a classic Nintendo game console was almost impossible to get my hands on. Luckily, I have a friend who has some sort of secret power when it comes to buying these types of things off websites who sell-out in minutes. It's packed with 20 preloaded and proven to be the best games that will keep you occupied for hours. Including: Super Mario World, Contra III, Final Fantasy, Street Fighters II, Secret of Mana, and much more! Jerico and I have spent many hours playing with it already.

spendee My Virtual Budgeting app review

I've actually been on and off with this app for a few years. As you may have read in a previous post, I was using another money app to keep track of my finances but somehow I keep coming back to Spendee. It has such a user-friendly interface that provides you with the information you're looking for in a straightforward manner that makes budgeting and planning easy. (Free to download, has premium option)

afterlight 2 app review

A F T E R L I G H T   2

If you were a fan of the original Afterlight app, you'll definitely enjoy this sequel. It's packed with many custom features like filters; frames; dust, light, and bokeh overlays; double exposure; and — what enticed me to purchase the app — the ability to select specific colours to curve. If you have a Instagram theme and you want all your photos to have that light pink tint, this will help you keep that cohesive no matter where or what you photograph. (Price: 2.99)

fabulous app

F A B U L O U S

They say it takes 21 days to form a habit. This app gives users daily coaching to improve your morning, afternoon, and evening habits — from having a glass of water first thing when you wake up to sitting and meditating for a minute in the evening. If you're trying to improve your life for the healthier and better, this may be the app for you! (Free to download)

op.gg app

O P . G G

This is only for those who play League of Legends, but if you're not already referencing this app/website for your counter and build needs — what are you doing with your life? For years, I've been using Mobafire for the best builds, it's still a great source, but I've found something even better with a great user interface. I bring to you, OP.GG. With statistics like win rate, you're likely to choose champions accordingly to make sure you take home a W. (Free to download)

What are some of your favourite apps? What should I test out for next month?
