I'm really excited.
I had been researching the FitBit since the first day it came out years ago. But I have this love-hate relationship with being active and fit — I go through phases of being heavily immersed with counting my calories and going to the gym, and letting myself go and just going on walks on the weekends.
Though it was a little bit of a spur decision at this particular time to purchase a FitBit, I knew I definitely wanted it solely to motivate myself to actually try and be active again. I fell into a very deep happiness rut since I met Jerico, and started to be comfortable with him, our relationship, and my body. But while packing for my latest trip to Portugal, I noticed that some of my jeans and shorts don't fit me. I let myself go too far.
Below is the stats I got on my first day wearing the FitBit. I intend to keep a record of my daily progress on Instagram as it makes it easy to view them all at once. If you'd like to follow me on my journey, search the handle @aitakeru. If you're supportive or also on your own journey, I will follow back :) Hope to see you all there!
For the record, this post is not sponsored. I purchased the FitBit Charge 2 with my own money :) Also, photos by: Marc Gamboa
